SUMMARY: Various Office and Receptionist duties which include interfacing with Customers and Vendors in person and on the phone. Various Warehouse duties which include receiving freight and pulling orders for customers.

ESSENTIAL DUITES AND REPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
  • Answer phone on a multi-line system.
  • Assist at the front counter with customers, taking parts orders and collecting payment.
  • Data entry of new product information
  • Balance cash drawer daily.
  • Prepare inter-office dispatch daily
  • Take and pull orders from customers and other Burrell store locations.
  • Check-in incoming freight.
  • Data entry of daily freight shipments.
  • Clean office and bathrooms.
  • Maintain stocked office supplies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill and/ or ability required.   • Good telephone skills are necessary and multi-line phone experience helpful.
  • Must be detail oriented and have good computer skills.
  • Cashier experience helpful.
  • Must be able to work at a computer for an extended amount of time each day with an equal amount of time spent standing, lifting and bending. Company policy prohibits the unassisted lift of 70 pounds or more.
  • Knowledge of heavy duty truck parts would be helpful.
